Artist first.

Telly Cadet is a Minneapolis-based visual artist working through line, color, repetition, symbols, and accumulation. Physical works on paper are the starting point. Moving image, bodies, interfaces, and systems extend the same attention into other forms.

A body of work, still becoming public.

The practice holds approximately 800 tracked artwork records. A source-preserving digitization program has registered 804 photographed files for review. The archive is substantial; documentation and interpretation are still in progress.

The work did not begin with Glyphica.

From enterprise support at Crossfuze (2019–2022) and operations leadership at the University of Minnesota (2022–2024), Telly learned to turn distributed work into clearer roles, evidence, training, review, and correction. Independent practice continues that operation in art and research.

Questions are part of the practice.

Telly builds source-grounded studies to understand how institutions describe art, technology, knowledge, labor, and opportunity. A recent Minneapolis-outward study mapped 37 public carriers from 38 sources—not to choose an identity, but to learn which languages can carry different parts of the work.

One part of a larger practice.

Begun as a continuous independent practice around November 2024, Glyphica brings art, human–AI collaboration, research, knowledge organization, and governance into relation. It helps complex work move between contexts without pretending one public description contains the whole person.
